HEY Y’ALL!
Modern Renaissance Woman | Chef | Creative | Entrepreneur | Author | Community Servant
Joyful pint-sized tour de force best describes Jayda Atkinson. Hailing from New Orleans, she embodies a life rich with abundance, hospitality, purpose, love, joy, and the relentless pursuit of happiness. Her journey from humble beginnings to becoming a visionary in the food, entertainment, and community service sectors is a testament to her resilience and commitment to creating Heartful experiences. –Kiara Akita
Growing up in New Orleans, there was always that one lady in the neighborhood who did a little bit of everything.
If you needed something sewn, you went to her. If you needed something to eat, her door was open. If the church needed help, she was there. If there was a community event, a social aid and pleasure club gathering, or someone in need, she was somewhere in the middle of it all.
She wasn’t necessarily defined by a title or profession. She simply used whatever gifts she had to serve, nurture, connect, and bring joy to the people around her.
I have always seen myself as the modern-day version of that neighborhood grandmother, even as a little girl, funny as that may sound.
My gifts may take me from kitchens to concert tours, from community service to creating experiences, from neighborhood gatherings to stages around the world, but the heart behind it all remains the same.
I love cultivating experiences, creating spaces, bringing people together, feeding hungry hearts and stomachs, and making people feel seen, welcomed, and loved.
I’m not trying to fit into one box. I’m simply using all the gifts God has given me to serve in whatever capacity I’m called.
Same neighborhood spirit. Different generation. A much bigger table.
Cultivating Experiences while Feeding Hearts and Souls with Love.
— Jayda
THIS IS ME
I’ve never believed that purpose has to fit into one box. Every experience I create, every project I nurture, and every community I serve is simply another expression of the gifts I’ve been given.
Take a look around, explore what speaks to you, and perhaps we’ll find an opportunity to create something beautiful together.
BIG EAS’E WELLNESS
Breathe. Fleaux. Be Eas’e.
Wellness doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, all we need is a moment to breathe, move, connect, and simply be.
Through Big Eas’e Wellness, I curate intentional community and group experiences that bring people together through breath, movement, nourishment, and meaningful connection.
From Breathe & Fleaux and Breathe & Stretch to Breathe & Brunch, Breathe & Feast, and community wellness gatherings, each experience is an invitation to slow down, find your rhythm, and embrace a little more ease in everyday living.
Because being well isn’t just about how we feel physically; it’s about how we live, love, connect, and care for ourselves and one another.

CULINARY JOURNEY
Food Is My Love Language. Experiences Are My Specialty.
My journey in food began with a simple belief: good food brings people together, but the experience is what they remember.
From cooking in my Uptown New Orleans kitchen to feeding thousands, touring the world, and developing culinary concepts, food has always been one of the ways I express love and creativity.
Today, I bring that same spirit to Po’Babies, culinary consulting, brand collaborations, food and beverage concepts, hospitality, and thoughtfully curated experiences.
Whether we’re developing something new, bringing a vision to life, or creating an unforgettable gathering, I believe the best partnerships begin with a shared purpose and a little lagniappe.

THE SUCCESS CAFE
Where Dreams Are Brewed.
Founded in 2007, The Success Café, formerly The Love Lives Foundation, was born from my belief that everyone deserves a place to begin again.
More than a nonprofit, it’s a living expression of love, service, and community, where dreams are brewed and possibilities are nurtured.
Through youth mentorship, literacy, community outreach, Bags of Hope, and initiatives that support individuals and families, we create meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, restoration, and hope.
Because sometimes, changing a life begins with something as simple as showing up, extending a hand, and reminding someone that they matter.
THE NOLA LOLAS
Some of life’s greatest joys are found in sisterhood, celebration, and serving others.
As co-founder of The NOLA LOLAS alongside my Partner in Pink, Kourtenay Roberts, I’ve had the joy of helping build a sisterhood rooted in New Orleans culture, glamour, community service, and connection.
We’re women from different walks of life coming together to celebrate who we are, preserve the traditions we love, uplift our communities, and remind one another that life is meant to be lived out loud always.
And yes, we do it with plenty of pink, personality, and purpose!
RED BEANS AND RICE FOR DINNER
Growing up in New Orleans, food was never just about what was on the plate. It was about family, tradition, storytelling, and the love shared around the table.
My debut children’s book, Red Beans and Rice for Dinner, celebrates those beautiful connections through a story rooted in the culture and flavors of home.
Through reading experiences, classroom visits, and conversations with young readers, I hope to inspire imagination, encourage literacy, and help children discover the joy of stories that reflect the communities and traditions that shape us.
Let’s Create Something Beautiful Together
Whether you’re looking to collaborate on a creative concept, explore a wellness gathering, support a community initiative, share a story, or simply connect, there’s always room at the table.
Because at the heart of everything I do is one simple purpose:
To create experiences where people feel welcomed, nourished, connected, and a little lighter than when they arrived.
Cultivating Experiences while Feeding Hearts and Souls with Love.
A Little Love Goes a Long Way.
If something I’ve shared has made you smile, inspired you, fed your spirit, or simply brightened your day, and you feel moved to pour a little love back, it’s always received with a grateful heart.
No gift is too small, and your kindness means more than you know.
